The Hunt Cycling is a full service bike-shop, independent journal and collective consisting of three cycling enthusiasts based in Halle Saale. We try to explore, document and share our experiences in the field of cycling and beyond. Besides drinking shandy, lots of riding and intellectual discusses about bike parts and stuff, we enjoy riding with friends and running our showroom and bike-shop located in the center of Halle.
Definition: A romanceur is a person who believes in romanticism which is like a philosophy on life. Romanceürs love nature, old things like castles and churches, love poetry and beauty, and have a tendency to get carried away by ideas. Romanceürs also tend to get randomly sad, but this is only because the weather and colors and beautiful things make them act differently than others.
This Crust Bikes build is a symphony composed in 4 movements including SimWorks, Rene Herse Specialites T.A., Shimano Dura Ace and a few other parts. Hope you like it.
This is our second Brother Cycles Big Bro composition sporting Sim Works bars, WTB tyres, some fancy Hope Tech parts and a matching custom framed SON Edelux II front light. This bike is ready to shred the local trails to the favorite convenience store or conquer the world. We like!
We did a few more „artificial jungle“ photos of our latest bling bling Velo Orange build. The Polyvalent frameset is a pretty solid modern randonneur or light tourer with a low trail geometry perfect for riding with a light front load. Not only is this bike something special in terms of versatility but with this special lavendel color it is also very beautiful to look at. We build it up in a very classic french randonneur style with components from Campagnolo, Soma, Brooks England, Velocity, Sim Works and a few more.
This is Michel’s summer dream machine. A Greg LeMond Ventoux roadbike — Tour de France 1989 Edition made out of Columbus tubing. This build is all about vintage DuraAce parts having fun with modern components. An outstanding, beautiful and classic roadbike.
Our good friend and long time supporter Axel got himself a new inner and outer city exploring utility device aka a Brother Cycles “Big Bro”. For this build he went with a more elegant approach, custom painted the frame and decided for parts without thinking of adventure first. Well done we must say! ??Parts by Sim Works, Hope, DT Swiss Halo, Busch und Müller, Honjo, Specialized and many more.
